Veterinary Technician
Veterinary Technicians assist in the care of our animal patients and spend time teaching our junior staff and interns how to perform basic veterinary functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for intake of animals, including weighing, conducting a physical examination under the supervision of the Veterinarian, drawing up drugs for surgery, setting up surgery, induction and intubation, assisting the Veterinarian during surgical procedures, recovery of animals and cleaning. The best candidate will share our passion for spay and neuter and ending pet overpopulation and be willing to serve as an ambassador for the organization in every client interaction and at special events. Client Support Specialist
This position is typically the first to interact with any client. Client support specialists have general office duties, including answering the phone, scheduling appointments, collecting payments, paperwork, etc. Besides these office duties, a CSS welcomes all clients into the clinic, is friendly, outgoing, empathetic and compassionate. Multi-tasking and ability to prioritize is essential in this role. The best candidate will share our passion for spay and neuter and ending pet overpopulation and be willing to serve as an ambassador for the organization in every client interaction and at special events.Â
Kennel Assistant
Some of the job responsibilities include ensuring kennels are clean throughout the day, cleaning surgical instruments and preparing surgical packs for sterilization, cleaning and sterilizing endotracheal tubes, assisting in the recovery area, preparing and administering vaccines, trimming nails and other tasks as assigned. The best candidate will share our passion for spay and neuter and ending pet overpopulation and be willing to serve as an ambassador for the organization in every client interaction and at special events.Â
