Cassie joined the SpayToday team in January 2016 as Executive Director. She found a passion for helping animals after she adopted her mastiff, Lou. Cassie helped start a foster program for a rural animal shelter and went on to consult with rescue organizations, helping them navigate the PACFA process and implement best practices for success.

Cassie has a background in finance and government. She also is an elected member to the West Metro Fire Rescue Board of Directors, where she serves as Board President.

Cassie works to combine her passion for animal welfare, fundraising and organizational development to help SpayToday achieve its mission of reducing pet overpopulation and homelessness through effective, affordable spay and neuter services for everyone.

Cassie has two dogs, a mastiff named Lou and boxer named Uber. She loves to play match-maker by helping homeless pets find their perfect family. She enjoys teaching her son about the value of every pet’s life and promoting the human-animal bond between every person and their pet.
