On Saturday, June 3rd, 2017 Lakewood Mayor Adam Paul presented SpayToday, NeuterNow! with a proclamation from the City of Lakewood recognizing SpayToday for our commitment to reducing pet overpopulation thru effective spay and neuter and celebrating reaching a huge milestone- 50,000 spay and neuter procedures completed since we opened in January 2009.
Countless unplanned and unwanted litters have been successfully prevented by pet owners choosing to fix their pets. This means, healthier animals, less strain on our amazing animal control officers and fewer cats and dogs entering our community shelters. We’re looking forward to our next 50,000. Together we can ensure healthier pets for a healthier community!
